Energizers: The way teachers integrate physical activity and nutrition with academic concepts.

  1. Energizers are classroom based physical activities that integrate physical activity with academic concepts.  These are short (approx. 10 min.) activities that classroom teachers can use to provide activity to children.
  2. JAM (Just-A-Minute) School Program brings physical activity and health education into the classroom. JAM is designed to teach kids (and adults) healthier lifestyle habits in 1 - 5 minutes. JAM is a free wellness resource for schools.
  3. 5 Minute Nutrition Classroom Activities: 27 nutrition activities focusing on general nutrition (including food groups, vitamins, minerals, and food options), media, water, activity, and "Green your Meal".

Midwest Dairy Association: The Midwest Dairy Council is the nutrition education division of Midwest Dairy Association.  The Council's mission is to promote a healthy diet through nutritiion education and the use of dairy products to consumers, health professionals, and teachers.
